Pairs
Accentuate the visual impact of a fireplace, painting or decorative table by placing matching
lights either side.
Diffuse
Diffuse light by directing lamps at a wall. The reflected light will provide a softer light to
the room.
Stay Noticed
When switched off, wall lamps are usually more noticeable than ceiling lamps. This makes
them an ideal choice where extra visual interest is needed.
Conceal
Concealed lighting can provide beautifully soft & moody lighting. When used behind a decorative
wall panel, concealed lighting can add visual separation from the wall.
Lower
Recessed spotlights low in a wall can be used to highlight textures. The low light skims over
the floor surface providing the contrast and shadows needed to draw out the surface texture.
Low level lighting like this works well along a hallway, on a flight of stairs, or equally
outside on garden patios, decking or driveways.
Repeat
Pendant lamps can gain much from repetition. Consider hanging them in pairs above a dining table
or spacing them evenly along a hallway or landing.
