It performs a comprehensive test routine every 2 seconds. A slow flashing green diode shows all is well, whilst a fast flashing green diode and sounder indicate a fault. The unit also features a low battery signal. Ensuring the alarm is sounded as soon as a fault occurs makes for easy location and repair. Supplied with 4 x 1.5v AAA batteries.
